SUMMER ARTS PROGRAM 2007

Welcome to the Tubac Center of the Arts!  For over 20 years, TCA has transformed its exhibit galleries and meeting rooms into active studio classrooms.  This year is no exception.

TCA will, once again, present a 4-week Summer Arts Program.  This year’s theme will take us around the world on magic carpet fly! We’ll learn about play writing with highlights on different cultures and traditions- for example Chinese shadow theatre, blockprinting from Japan, mud cloth from Africa, whimsical mosaics in Barcelona and many, many more!
The following artists will offer their skills and expertise to this exciting program:

• Edith Zarev - Education Coordinator and Director of SummerArts Program
• Kimberly Roach – Mosaics and Sculpture
• Linda Crawford – Enamel
• Susan Ettl – Fiber Arts
• Ruby Dean– Printmaking
• Susan Corl – Puppetry and Masks
• Joshua Cicci- Theatre Maestro

The 4-week program will culminate in a presentation of the play written and performed by our students, as well as art show in the gallery where all can view their art work 

TCA is offering this summer program as follow:

• Ages: 6 – 13 years
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday each week
• Time: 9:30 am - 3.00 pm
• Dates: June 19-21, June 26-28, July 3-7, July 10-12
• Cost: $195.00 for the 4-week program ( includes all materials )
