Workshop ScheduleHistoric Lowe House- Workshops Location We are happy to announce that some of our workshops will take place at the Historic Lowe House where the true spirit of the Tubac tradition of “Where Art and History Meet” will delight and inspire.
The house was built atop ruins of a building appearing in a 1767 Spanish Colonial map and now is on the National Register of Historic Places. The Historic Lowe House in Old Town Tubac has been a home for over the past 100 yrs to prestigious Tubac families. It was the home/studio/gallery of Hans and Marion Valentine, two of the early members of the Tubac Artist Colony in the 1960s. In more recent times, with it’s garden, lovely ambiance and magic spirit, the Lowe House has been an inspiring setting for working artists and those aspiring to learn how to express their unique and creative spirits.
