Alan Soffin
Alan Soffin PhD is a philosopher, photographer and filmmaker. He has taught at Michigan State and Temple Universities. His major work, Rethinking Religion: Beyond Theism, Scientism and Philosophic Doubt, is a philosophic analysis of religion. Has Human Life a Meaning is his latest work. As filmmaker, his avant-garde feature film, Confessor, won a grant from the American Film Institute. Featured on the Today Show, his innovative language program, "Video-Exchange", enabled American and foreign students to learn each other's languages by exchanging student-created videotapes. Dr. Soffin's Arizona photo exhibition, In A Believers Graveyard, was made into a video-film.
