For your safety and the preservation of the artwork, do not touch works of art at the Tubac Center of the Art. In some instances, designated gallery areas may include interactive stations with materials/media, equipment, and artworks designed for touching. Those interactive stations will be clearly indicated.
Please stand at least 18 inches (one-half meter) away from all artworks. Do not cross the line of art safety barriers. Do not use foreign objects to point at artwork, including, but not limited to, pencils, papers, brochures, glasses, or other items.
Do not lean against or touch walls, pedestals, or display cases.
Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Be respectful and mindful of those around you. Keep voices at a courteous volume and set cellphones to vibrate or silent. Please note that visitors may be photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded. By visiting, visitors grant the Center permission to use the photographs and/or audiovisual recordings in which visitors appear for any Center purposes.
We welcome all pets to the Center's ground. All Pets must be leashed and close to owner by arm lengths. No pet food or water bowls are permitted inside Center. If owner cannot control their pet, Faculty will have the right to ask owner to leave the building for the safety of guest's and artwork. Owners will held responsible for any danage to works of art by pet.
No food or drinks are allowed inside Art Center Ground, exception is a water bottle with a lid and during special events. A water fountain is located in the back of the center near the restrooms.
Baby bottles, spill-proof “sippy” cups for children, and breastfeeding are permitted. Presently, the Center does not provide a designated breastfeeding area.
For exhibitions, workshops, performing arts, and Art Speaks, please turn off or enable silence mode on cellphones to minimize distractions.
Photo and video is permitted for personal, non-commercial use, unless otherwise indicated. Videography using smartphones only may be permitted. Use of a flash, tripod, monopod, selfie stick, home video recorder, or professional movie/video filming equipment is strictly prohibited.
Photos and videos cannot be distributed for commercial use without permission from TCA. Copyright for many works of art belongs to the artist or their representatives. The Tubac Center of the Arts does not assume liability for violation of copyright law by a guest or visitor. If you are interested in reproducing works of art in the Center’s collection, you must obtain advance permission. Certain conditions and restrictions may apply, including fees.
Shoulder bags, such as purses, messenger bags, and laptop bags, are permitted. Backpack child carriers or carrying a child on the back or shoulders is not permitted. Luggage, packages, umbrellas, and other bags exceeding 11×15 inches are not permitted.
Medically-required backpacks are permitted, but must be worn on one’s shoulder only.
If item(s) or personal belonging(s) are lost at the Art Center please call 520-398-2371 or email info@tubacarts.org as quickly as possible so we may try to locate and hold any lost item.
Restrooms are located in the back of the Master Moschetti Gallery.
Pencils and notebooks are permitted to take notes or to sketch within the galleries. All other writing implements, such as pens, markers, crayons, paint, and other forms of wet media; easels; and drawing pads larger than 18×24 inches are not permitted. Art Class items provided and/or used for the classes are permitted within the class hours and designated spaces.
Medical supplies are permitted.
Additional items, such as, umbrellas; balloons; toys, including yo-yos, squirt guns, and hula hoops; prop or toy weapons; masks; electronic games; roller skates, scooters, wheeled shoes, skateboards, and bicycles; and police or radio scanners are not permitted.
- Leafleting, signature gathering, picketing, charitable solicitations, and press conferences by visitors
- The unauthorized playing of music and video, unauthorized projection of images, unauthorized theater performances, and sound amplification and noisemakers (except for assistive-listening devices)
- Solicitation of business and unauthorized for-profit activity
- Running, rough play, and disruptive behavior
- Conduct that poses any risk to other visitors or to the TCA’s staff or collections
- Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is prohibited anywhere inside the Center. There are designated areas where smoking is allowed outside.
The Center reserves the right to refuse entry to any visitor with any of the following prohibited items:
- Weapons of any kind; firearms of any type and/or ammunition; cutting tools, including knives, scissors, and blades; tools and tool parts; any “dual-use” items that could be considered dangerous to people or art, including hammers, saws, sharp objects, poles, and sticks.
- Hazardous materials, including pepper spray, mace, and other chemical compounds or biological agents that could be considered toxic, including flammable liquids, aerosols, fuels, fireworks, toxic chemicals, and explosives.
- Illegal items or substances.
- Outside food or drinks, including alcoholic beverages (unless sealed or for family or medical purposes).
- Selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, and any professional video equipment.
- Any object larger than 11" × 17" × 5"; luggage of any size or type; large umbrellas; sporting goods; recreational equipment such as e-scooters, recreational scooters, skateboards, wagons, or hoverboards; shoes with wheels, roller skates, roller blades or any other wheeled items.
- Recreational scooters and e-scooters.
- Marking materials such as paint, adhesives, epoxies, or glues. Colored pencils, crayons, and markers are also not allowed. Only pencils are allowed for drawing and sketching in the galleries.
- Banners and signs, confetti, balloons, plants, and flower arrangements.
Costumes, including masks that cover the full face.
- Drones, unmanned aerial devices, survey balloons, photography mini-copters, and any flying device.
- Portable speakers or other devices that may be used to amplify sound; airhorns; musical instruments.
- Any other items that could put the art or visitors at risk, to be determined at the sole discretion of The Tubac Center of the Arts.
For accessibility needs only, ask TCA staff for restroom needs.
Handicap parking is available either in the front of the center or in the south parking lot. If you are in need of handicap parking, park in the south parking lot of TCA for easier access to the center.

Parking is free to the public and is a first come first served basis, parking can not be reserved. There is available parking in the front and the back of Tubac Center of the Arts.
Follow I-19 S, take exit 34 from I-19 S, Turn left onto Barrio de Tubac, Turn left onto I-19 Frontage Rd, Turn right onto Plaza Rd, Tubac Center of the Arts will be located at #9 on the right.

Parking is free to the public and is a first come first served policy, parking cannot be reserved.
Follow I-19 S, take exit 34 from I-19 S, Turn left onto Bario de Tubac, Turn left onto I-19 Frontage Rd, Turn right onto Plaza Rd, Turn right onto Burruel St, take the first left, the Tubac School of Fine Art will be located on the immediate left.
