Al Tucci
Al Tucci has a long career as an artist and theatrical designer and is Professor and Director emeritus of the School of Theatre at the University of Arizona. After graduating from the renowned Goodman School of Drama at the Art Institute of Chicago, Al went on to have a forty-five-year career as a free-lance United Scenic Artist Union theatrical designer, professor, and administrator at four universities. Most of his work has been in theatre costume design. He has designed hundreds of costumes and many settings, and his collection of works, over 2400 pieces, is housed in Special Collections at the Richardson Library at DePaul University in Chicago. Al has designed museum exhibitions and gallery instillations as well as having very successful one person shows and many gallery exhibitions, both regionally and nationally.
