Steven Lloyd
Stephen Lloyd sold his first painting while studying at Cornell University’s College of Architecture, Art and Planning. During his long career as an architect, he explored painting in acrylic on canvas, a discipline free from the constraints of built form. This practice resulted in one and two-person shows in New England. Now he enjoys drawing and painting full time and exhibiting his work in Vermont and Arizona. His work is in private collections in the US and in Sweden, Spain and Switzerland. This show features representational and abstract landscapes inspired by the West as well as purely abstract pieces, all informed by the architect’s eye.
