This mini book may not land you on the best seller's list, but your friends will be clamoring at your door for their own personalized copy. Come learn to create and texture miniature book covers using silver metal clay, embellish them with tiny clay elements and fill them with colorful pages or personalized notes or pictures. When complete, you will want to proudly wear your story for all to see. All tools and materials are supplied; magnifying lenses (if needed) and an apron are optional.

Instructor Bio

Lyle Rayfield

Lyle Rayfield is an award-winning metal clay artist and Master Instructor for Art Clay World USA, as well as an Accredited Teacher for Hadar’s ClayTM. After many years of various jewelry ventures, Lyle discovered the world of metal clay and expanded her love of teaching into the metal clay community. She is a studio jewelry artist and currently offers classes on a regular basis at her home in Tucson, AZ, as well as through neighboring arts education venues. Lyle’s work was honored at the 2006 and 2008 Art Clay World North American Design Competitions. You can find her work exhibited for sale at local area juried artisan markets and in several local galleries, including Desert Artisans, Tubac Center of the Arts, and Tohono Chul.
